The annual "Book Tasting" is a presentation of trends and statistics concerning the most recent publications of literature for children and young people. This material provides a basis for research and is sed as reference material. The "Book Tasting" also includes lectures and a thematic book display. The "Book Tasting" is co-hosted by the Stockholm regional libraries and Stockholm city library.

in Sweden has increased throughout the 2000's and accounts for approximately 10% of the total publishing in Sweden.
